lately ...

Lately, life is going to stay in places, i've been busy last months, everybody thinks a makeover at home would take just few weeks... like yeah right! is like 5 months since i started this project of renovation! water pipes, floor titles, building and enlarging rooms... it sounds like i did all that job, but not, but what i did is paying bills and i'm so grateful for all that different jobs that i had so i can afford this huge change in the home... later in another post i'll tell you the story of this adorable place, but in the meanwhile, doing all this hard work was with heavy materials, cement, bricks, and hard material of construction, the fact i was able to afford just makes me happy and lucky girl (tears of joy) dad would be so proud of what i've been doing this past years (thank you life!!)
So, i also been looking for ideas for home, i'm gonna sew a oilcloth banner, need some inspirational quote for my home... but i just found on Etsy great ideas for decoration in all senses!

art seeker....

  i was just passing  by, walking thru museums, art galleries, art exhibitions, just seeking some shapes, ideas, colors, anything that inspires me in every place i step in...
leaving behind all the glam, going to museums and art galleries should be more as a new experience for learning and feeling, we are sensorial beings, humans need sensations and new feelings to nourish our souls.
Lately i've been quite busy with my classes at school, i've got more than 100 teenagers that keeps me awake, alive, energized and of course, quite busy but classes are doing great, i like to talk them about art and art history, i constantly repeat and encourage to visit museums, the experience is quite unique and for a teenager could be new and vivid see art in all its forms and expressions...
Got to go back to my duties,  i'll try to keep posting my dear blogger friends...

 Guess i haven't been busy around here... but trust me, i've been quite busy lately! between classes, handling job and art projects... (but at least i've been doing great and having fun too... stressed too but still, has been fun around...) 
news? museums are still my kind of thing to visit... more news? new paintings at my studio of course.... more and more news? traveling this year like i always wanted! and that's a good thing for this fondly routine breaker person of me... like, i wish i do really wish to travel often even when i go back tired but what can i say folks? travel is a refresh to me! breath new air and scents on the roads and cities! eat and try new food around (don't care if i get sick on my stomach...) 
This year was such a nice thing to visit México city, between you and me it wasn't my kind of city... wasn't is the key word... is now for me... walking around in the downtown area, take the subway and praying deeply to not been there if there's an earthquake... God only know how scary could be that...
So, i'll share some of my fav photos that i took there... thank you year 2023 to let me stay busy, working and traveling in things that i totally adore!

Visit museums...

 i love visit museums, like... i could do that quite often if i have time... is the best place for a date, for tourist and visit cities... is a place to look close at paintings, sculptures or any kind of art... museums should be a must in every place... have you ever been in a museum and at almost to finish your visit, do you find yourself starving? guess is something quite usual, is part of the visit...
This was my last time i went to a city museum... and i just love it.. was funny art, ironic images, like vintage but new...

So this is me, a vintage collector, a keeper of antiques, i'm so lucky to find goodies and have a nice collection of clothes and outfits... Got to share it, i'll keep some for myself but still i'm gonna share some goodies on my etsy shop just because may need find some other collectors that also love to keep vintage things like me...
What about to get something old? i guess is because all the history behind an object, let's see what's new goodies comes with this new year... 

 

i do love colors

 I do love colors, i wish more colorful things, like in all my home of course, the palette of my paintings and also with all my outfit... funny cuz i wear more neutral colors or dark colors, i just realize that i should wear more colorful clothes and barely got it in my wardrobe (oh well..) but what i love is to mix colors in my paintings, also mix colorful oilcloth pattern and make different garlands with lots of colors... so lately i thinking in quotes, like in books, in poems.... quotes to encourage or cheer up, i guess is i'm thinking in how to make a place looks and feel cozy and make it better... so i've been sewing, searching for vintage thinks for my home and just want to make my place to look great...
What do you do when you want to make a place look better?
Advices are welcome...

life lately...

i've been staying in home for vacation, i can't say it was just leisure, i've been working on my paintings, cleaning, declutter, painting walls and else... this is my last week before to start classes again, is kinda scary going back to presencial classes after all this distance and virtual classes... i already got my vaccine although i feel secure with it i'm still taking a lot of vitamins!!
Even when i adore to stay more time at home i've got to go back, this are my fav captures lately and yes! i used a nice vintage filter for this pics cuz i love vivid and bright colors but why not a different thing?
 August has been kind to me...

dash of yellow

 August is one of my favorites months of the year, dunno why really... i guess is just the weather or maybe almost the last month of summer season... really can't tell, but i can tell you why i like this month and also what i've been capture lately with my camera... i've got a crush in yellow, just a dash, i've been thinking seriously to paint some wooden furniture in yellow or sew something with yellow fabric but most shocking is to wear yellow in my outfits like, more than usual, i feel so confortable wearing black and blue and grey tho, but well.. i may probably change my mind... i don't have a specific explanation but just because i like it, is like candy eye to me... (also pastel pink, i may probably write a post of pastel pink meanwhile...) some captures with yellow ...

 Yes, i've been quite busy from here to there, sometimes i procrastinate like a lot, and sometimes i don't even know what day it is... but lately i just try to stay active in Etsy, i do enjoy putting extra gifts to all my customers and make an extra effort to be creative with my garlands and banner quotes and still! this is what i found lately, there's a reason... gonna explain myself..
Lately i've been quite interested in lingerie and undies like... i took classes of how to sew it and now is like a trend and omG! need to keep update on how to sew it, materials and i can't help it! so au naturel because is almost autumn, is nice the warm colors ..

quick trip...

 so i push my luck, i took my chances, i decided not to live with fear and well i packed my stuff, take a fly and went to Cdmx... Gosh! can't tell you how i missed to travel!!! visiting places, walking around, take a cup of coffee and just going outside!!
don't get me wrong, i'm the indoorsy person but sometimes is like too much! why not to travel?! here i am now, after a short quick travel, visiting museums, parks, art galleries, walking by, eating yummy and delicious food... can't get enough! i want to go to other places now!!! 
if i have fun? hell yes! if i take care? hell yes! if i was sanitizing my hands frequently? hell yes!
