Visit museums...

 i love visit museums, like... i could do that quite often if i have time... is the best place for a date, for tourist and visit cities... is a place to look close at paintings, sculptures or any kind of art... museums should be a must in every place... have you ever been in a museum and at almost to finish your visit, do you find yourself starving? guess is something quite usual, is part of the visit...
This was my last time i went to a city museum... and i just love it.. was funny art, ironic images, like vintage but new...

here we go again

 A week in curated photos, i mean, i'm back, blogging and writing after a long break with you guys, (not actually you, but with my blog..), find some goodie days to spend outside, is windy, warm already and as a visual collector, well, i enjoy reflected shadows in everywhere... This past months was kinda a whirl, gotta settle myself to write and update... gotta paint a little bit more this year and let myself flow with things that i cannot control outside of myself, spend more time doing the thing that i procrastinate such courses, workshop, therapy and else... keep enjoying this year! wish you a fun, wild and lovely 2023..

So this is me, a vintage collector, a keeper of antiques, i'm so lucky to find goodies and have a nice collection of clothes and outfits... Got to share it, i'll keep some for myself but still i'm gonna share some goodies on my etsy shop just because may need find some other collectors that also love to keep vintage things like me...
What about to get something old? i guess is because all the history behind an object, let's see what's new goodies comes with this new year... 

 

i do love colors

 I do love colors, i wish more colorful things, like in all my home of course, the palette of my paintings and also with all my outfit... funny cuz i wear more neutral colors or dark colors, i just realize that i should wear more colorful clothes and barely got it in my wardrobe (oh well..) but what i love is to mix colors in my paintings, also mix colorful oilcloth pattern and make different garlands with lots of colors... so lately i thinking in quotes, like in books, in poems.... quotes to encourage or cheer up, i guess is i'm thinking in how to make a place looks and feel cozy and make it better... so i've been sewing, searching for vintage thinks for my home and just want to make my place to look great...
What do you do when you want to make a place look better?
Advices are welcome...

dash of yellow

 August is one of my favorites months of the year, dunno why really... i guess is just the weather or maybe almost the last month of summer season... really can't tell, but i can tell you why i like this month and also what i've been capture lately with my camera... i've got a crush in yellow, just a dash, i've been thinking seriously to paint some wooden furniture in yellow or sew something with yellow fabric but most shocking is to wear yellow in my outfits like, more than usual, i feel so confortable wearing black and blue and grey tho, but well.. i may probably change my mind... i don't have a specific explanation but just because i like it, is like candy eye to me... (also pastel pink, i may probably write a post of pastel pink meanwhile...) some captures with yellow ...

and finally! for myself...

I've got to say that, i became quite handy sewing this pencil and brush roll case, because i sew a lot for close friends and also family, even my little students have it! and after all of this i realized that i didn't have one for myself!!! and i was like, really why i haven't made one for me!? well, i choose a pretty good and colorful colors, and finally this is mine! i'm soooo happy! my pencils and brushes was such a mess in my paint tool box, and already got some order... and then it comes to my mind (thinking about generosity of course..) to do a giveaway in this month, not just because is a valentine month, is just because February seems a nice month with all the crazy moody weather, so, keep on eye on my next post! ;) here it comes a giveaway! (as always, i'll ship worldwide!!)

dare to do new things...

Part of the reason to write this post is that i finally dare myself to do something that in some way scares me, or beyond of feel scared is more like i feel insecure.. I'm gonna explain it better, well, i encourage myself to learn english not with an language academy but myself, translating songs, books, phrases, and losing my fear to speak to someone who is native with the language, and of course english speakers won't mock me or bite be, because (or is what i think..) people celebrate the effort and enthusiasm on the learners.. After opening my etsy shop, the description of every item and things that i create is just a big task! seriously! and something that i love is vintage... VINTAGE 💖 clothes, shoes, everything vintage! i always wanted to sell something vintage, but then, the english issue! how i'm gonna describe something vintage!?, well, after so many time, i introduce to you, some of my latest treasures that i'm gonna sell on my etsy shop.. Yeah Sir!!! 

hello January!

Since 4 or 3 years ago... (probably more..) i decided to go calm with new year's eve celebration, i mean, i didn't throw party and waking up next day with a badly hung over...i may probably did that but not for new year's eve, still! to not break up with the tradition to gather with friends, drink a few booze but just having chill time.... anyway, i'm gonna keep it like that, i just have a great time with my friends, we didn't talk much about resolutions but should be more like goals! resolution could be something more instant, a plan project for the next months or a way to quit bad habits but goals! could be more different, also because i like the word... it means more like succeed in something, so the next question will be, what's my goal for this year or for my life..? -_- the awkward moment of the confession... i've got to finish everything what i started!

Tengo mucha gente que sigo en pinterest, también sigo muchos tableros que he visto de lo mas interesante.. Lo que mas me gusta es la variedad de esto! desde jardinería hasta los tableros que tienen que ver con la obsesión o el gusto por algún tema (yo tengo uno acerca de imágenes retro, muy vintage! y pienso que debería hacer uno de cosas kitsch..).
Para mi, de los mas necesarios son aquellos que me ayudan o me inspiran, desde recetas de cocina hasta proyectos para elaborar en casa, también un tanto de ilustración y arte, pero sobre todo de libros que pienso comprar y prefiero tenerlos como pin antes que mi mala memoria haga de las suyas.

I've got so many people following on pinterest and also, i follow so many boards with the most interesting subjects... What i like about that is the variety on it! from gardening to the boards that got to do with some obsession or love of any kind of theme (i've got one board about retro images, is so vintage! and i'm still thinking that i should do one with kitsch stuff...).
To me, is quite necessary because it helps me or inspires me, from yummy recipes to projects do at home, also a bunch of illustration and art, but specially those with the books that i'm willing to buy and i prefer to pin it before my awful memory plays tricks on me.

Este año se fue rapidisimo! tengo emociones encontradas después de todo, debo confesar que este año no fue mi año favorito (he tenido años mejores..) pero aun así, se aprende mas de las cosas malas que de las buenas... Con todo y ello, debo de ser agradecida y ver las cosas con mejor actitud. Resumo el año con lo siguiente:

-Aprendí muchas cosas de todo, pero en general aprendí muchas cosas de mi misma

-Ser DIY es algo genial aunque está bien pedir ayuda 

-Se vale ser emocional (intensamente emocional en muchos aspectos)

-Intentar cosas nuevas no fue el propósito de este año, pero así fue en muchos aspectos

-La ayuda viene de formas muy diversas

-El tiempo vuelve extraños a los cercanos o cercanos a los lejanos (o incluso estrecha mas otros lazos)

-Me volví adicta a pinterest (aunque eso es mas bien una confesión..!)

Podría poner mas y mas cosas en la lista, es sólo un resumen, quizás este 2015 traiga mas y diferentes cosas para mi, o quizás sea yo quien ofrezca algo diferente para este año :)

This year past so quickly! i've got mixed emotions after all, i've got to confess that this wasn't my favorite year (i had better...) but even with that, i think that we learn more from the bad things that the good ones... With all that, i've got to be grateful and see everything with a better attitude.

I resume the year with the next thing:
-I learn tons of thing from everything, but in general i learn more from myself

-Be DIY is so cool although is ok to ask for some help

-Is ok to be emotional (deeply intense emotional in different ways)

-To try different things wasn't the purpose of the year, but it was like that in several aspects

-Help can coming in very diverse ways

-The time can become strangers the closed ones or become closer those who are apart (or even can tide some bounds)

-I've become addicted to pinterest (that was a confession, i know..)

I could put more and more thing on the list, but is just a resume, perhaps this 2015 will bring more and different things to me, or could be me who offer something different for this year :)

He visto muchos blogs en los que hay tantos giveaways que bueno, he entrado a algunos porque debo decir que hay cosas lindisimas!. Yo no sabía nada acerca de los giveaway asi que mi hermana me explico un poco en eso y la idea de regalar algo a otra parte de tu ciudad o país, es bastante interesante. I've seen many blogs whom comes with a lot of giveaway, so i get in on some of it because i must to say they've got a lot of lovely things!.
