home is...

 almost two years since covid started, life changed us in different ways, i feel like i've been learning a lot and still a way to go to stay learning, caring, loving, teaching, helping, changing, healing in so many ways
Two years and so and i feel so grateful for a lot of things, for my mom and dad, my family, friends, work, health and home..
i'm growing and learning and also makes me feel so overwhelmed, new places, new people and situations but i feel so lucky to have a home to come back... 
home is a refugee, a place to rebuilt myself, a cozy area to growth so i'm gonna fill it up with joy, love, happiness and gratitud

Bless my mornings

Every day is the same, run from here to there, make a routine, keep everything ready, make some meals, rushing and hurrying myself to not to be late, i do that 6 days a week some days are more in a rush than other but always the quite the same
Today was the day that i can totally make the time to cook and prepare my breakfast as if it was a ritual.. Boiling water for my coffee, gathering all the ingredients, wash all the dishes and just take my time for enjoying simply moments like this...
so bless my mornings and keep me doing this more often...

 

out of town

 so i was invited by an art promotor and curator to give an art workshop for kids. Gosh! didn't know how much i miss to travel! really! besides to go out of town, is more like i do really, really love to travel and also i neeeeed vitamin sea!
i stayed in a lil town near to Puerto Vallarta with some friends and art pals, my workshop was about the landscape and colors, i was working on it the last 3 weeks, i was totally pleased how kids respond to outdoorsy activities even when was damn hot outside, like 33 degrees...
i do want to go back of course! 
i do want to go back and eat tons of fruit and sea food
i do really really want to go back and swim in the sea

 oh well, i've been quite busy lately, i kinda abandon my blog but i've been busy on my etsy shop, in between my jobs, artworks, home and hobbies, sometimes i amaze myself how i handle it...

Acaso hay una manera de recibir el año o de despedirlo?! me gustaría decir que tengo algún ritual o algo así, no lo tengo aunque! limpiar la casa y tirar o regalar todo aquello que no uso o no sirve podría contar como uno... aunque bueno, no voy hablar de ello en este post, sino de como pasé una semana en relax en Diciembre.. a decir verdad este año no fue en muchas cosas bien, entre que unas cuantas situaciones sentimentales para dejar ir, lidiar con algo de depresión por ello y otra cosas que me rondaban en mi persona, bueno, pues tal vez pudiera decir que este año fue de Serendipia total! ruptura? bueno, tal vez era mejor dejar ir para recibir algo mejor :D así que entre otras nuevas experiencias y aventuras pues eso sucedió, un viaje a Baja California! playa, café, mariscos, sol, besos, café y mas besos con sabor a mar y sonrisas!! YaaY! me reservo el derecho de contar mas al respecto pero comparto las fotos que tomé..

Could be a way to welcome the new year or to say good-bye!? i would love to say that i've got one or so, but i don't have it, although! cleaning up my house and toss and give away stuff that i don't use or it doesn't work could be like one... even when, well, i'm not gonna talk much about that kind of things on this post, but about how i spend a relaxing week in December... and to say it truth, even when this year it wasn't in some way the best, between some awkward sentimental situations to let go, trying to handle depression and some other stuff that round my head, but well, this could be the Serendipia's year! break-up!? well, it should be better let go and receive something better and best for me :D so between new experiences and adventures, well, it happens! a trip to Baja! beach, coffee, sea food, sun, kisses, coffee and more sea salty kisses and smiles!! yaaY! i reserve my right to tell more about it but i share some pics...

Debo confesar que me he vuelto un fan de pinterest, realmente encuentras muchas cosas, aunque la cosa no es encontrarlas sino aplicar y hacer las cosas que encuentras... hice unos cupcakes de queso bree y huevo, toda una delicia, fué algo asi como el intro, necesitaba algo bueno para hacer, he estado bordando unos nuevos diseños que hice y necesito darle prisa para terminarlos, pronto tendré una semana muy intensa y si no termino mis pendientes antes, los tendré que dejar para después y ya sé lo que eso implica... (me conozco bastante bien...) el mood del día: ocupado

I must to confess that i become pinterest fan, you can really find tons of stuff, although, one thing is find them another one is apply and make the stuff you find there... i bake a savory cheesy cupcakes with bree cheese and scramble egg, it was delightful, it was like the intro, i need to do something good to do, i've been working on a new embroidery design that i made and i need to hurry to finish them, because soon i'll have a pretty intense week and if i can't finish my errands soon, i'll leave them for later and i know what implies... (i know myself pretty well...) currently mood: busy

coffee break

Han sido dias de lluvia y algo de humedad en el ambiente, es imposible no notarlo cuando mi cabello rizado tiene un frizz impresionante!!... asi que sin importar como se puede poner el día, salí con unos amigos (de mis mejores y de mi infancia..) a tomar un café, en serio que estos dias de lluvia me encantan!! disfrutaré de mi época favorita del año...
Its has been a rainy days with some humidity in the air, is not impossible to notice when my curly hair got a very impresive frizz!!... so no matter how the day can come, i just went to hang around with some friends (of my best and from my childhood..) to drink a cup of coffee, because seriosly, i just love this rainy days!! i keep enjoying my favorite season of the year...

Oh sweet treat...

Pasé a una cafetería de estilo antiguo algo como vintage, algo muy americano, me recordó un poco a unas pinturas de Hopper, aunque fuí por la tarde creo que de noche hubiera parecido más a esta pinturas (Nighthawks...), escribir un par de ideas, tomar un poco de café y disfrutar una rebanada de pay de cereza... si toda esa rebanada de pay la comí completa sin remordimientos...
I went to an old cafeteria with a very old fashion style some kind of vintage, something so american, it reminds me a little bit to Hopper's painting, although i went there at afternoon but i think at night would be look more like one of his paintings (Nighthawks...) write a few ideas, drink a cup of coffee and enjoy a slice of cherry pie as a treat... yup i ate that big slice of cherry pie without any regret...

Oh fall...

Qué interesante ver las hojas amarillas y de todos colores, es parte del otoño y del cambio de estación.. pero la hoja que mas me gusta en este momento, es la de mi latte... YeY cafeina!!!
So interesting to see the yellow leaves and all colors, is part of the fall and the change of the season... but the leaf the i like it most in this moment, is on my latte... YeY caffeine!!!

The Visitor

Decidí instalarme por unos cuantos dias indefinidos en casa de mi hermano y a decir verdad he disfrutado mucho su compañía, su casa tiene una ubicación perfecta entre el Centro de Guadalajara y los sitios que me gusta frecuentar... además que estando en ella he podido hacer unos cuantos dibujos, disfrutar de un buen café, llenarme la cabeza de ideas (es inevitable, su estudio motiva a hacerlo), convivir con un par de gatos dormilones y escuchar a Chavela Vargas (aunque creo es un poco por fastidiar a mi hermano e irrumpir en sus gustos musicales..)
I decided to stay for an undefined days at my brother's house and to tell the truth i've been enjoying so much his company, his house got a perfect ubication between Guadalajara's Downtown and the places the i like to visiting... besides, been there i can work in some doodles, taste a really nice coffee, fill my mind with tons of ideas (is impossible not to do it, his studio encourage me), play around with two sleepy kitty-cats and hear Chavela Vargas (although i think is a little bit to bother my brother and to change his pop music tracks..)

oh my mess...!!

Si, acepto a veces puedo ser un poco desordenada y tener un desastre cuando de pintar y trabajar en mis obras se trata... no es que no lo pueda evitar, pero ultimamente tuve la oportunidad de trabajar a mis anchas en la mesa del comedor... lapices, pinceles, tubos de pintura, lienzos, papeles, tazas de cafe, cuadernos y yo!? dos pinturas casi terminadas!!!


Yes, i acept that sometimes i could be a little bit messy and had a chaos when a start to paint and work on my paintings is... is not the i can't help it, you see, is because lately i've had the oportunity to work without boundaries on space in the dinning table... pencils, brushes, oil tubes, canvas, papers, coffee cups, notebooks and me!? 2 paintings almost finish!!!
