Hello kids..!!

Hello kiddos!! So wonderful, i feel so honored to know that lately my blog has been visited by kiddos that goes to Roagui workshop in the bookfair in Guadalajara, perhaps they like to exprese thier ideas and share them in a blog? or in a painting or draw?... so much better to know that this kiddos would be avid readers or writters!! YeY hurray for them!!

So bright at night...

It is pretty interesting the contrast of lights in the dark and better if the lights are bright and colorful in a zoo!... It was like fireworks..!! The most fun was ride a baboon and a tapir although i felt dizzy after that 2nd ride in the carousel, it was like a flashback to my childhood...

Spot, spot..

I wish i can make art abstract, i wish i could put some spots on my canvas, i wish i can do dripping, but i don't know and i can't, what you see are the spots and the extra paint that i remove from the brush and voilá, the result (something the i know to do...) figurative art...

Blue & Veloso

I'm not a person who likes some particular color, of course, i've got my favorite ones and even with them i do not have the obligation to use them, although lately i've been painting with so many different kind of blue almost like a favoritism and also with my currently musical obsesion, Caetano Veloso (the man with the velvet voice)... I like to listen his songs while i'm painting, i think his voice has something blue... or could be that my mood is a little bit blue lately??

They need flowers...

Día de muertos and the graveyards are filled and decorate with flowers, which is good, dead or alive the people need flowers, is one of my favorites days of the year, to remember with love all whose are not with us anymore and keep them alive in our memories...
To quote one of my favorites artists, José Guadalupe Posadas: "the death is democratic, because no matter what they are, blonde, brown, rich or poor... everybody will be a skull.."
