lately with colors

Lo mejor de tener un hobby no es sólo de estar productivo, es también que sigues siendo creativo, pero también lo que me gusta de mis hobbies es que puedo compartir lo que hago con otras personas. Esa es la clave no? es decir, al final no tendría mucho sentido si no pudieramos compartir lo que hacemos con otros, tal vez a unos les guste cocinar y entonces comparte su comida con otros, o tal vez tejer... yo por mi parte, me gusta coser, no sé si es un talento, tal vez no soy tan hábil, pero es algo que disfruto y si puedo compartir un poco lo que hago con otros, entonces tiene mas sentido... supongo que de esto se trata después de todo...

The best thing about a hobby is not just being productive, but also being creative, is something that like about my hobbies, i can share with friends, relatives and another persons.
That's the key isn't? i mean, it could be meaningless if we don't share what we can do with each others, like some people can cook so they can share it and eat with someone else, or probably knit.. by other hand, i like to sew, i'm not so sure if is a talent, i may probably not so skilled , but still i like to do it and i can share what i do with my friends, and i found out that it makes more sense of what i do... i guess is what it means

what about collections...

Me gustaría coleccionar algo, me parece que las personas que tienen alguna colección tienen también una obsesión o un interés personal, aquellos que saben de lo que hablo seguro es porque tienen esa complicidad con alguien que también posee un pequeño tesoro en casa. Me gustaría hacerlo realmente, lo que pasa es que no soy muy buena para ello, la razón (creo que ya lo he contado antes..) es que me gusta tener un espacio despejado en casa, he tenido que mudarme y aunque tengo pocas cosas, pienso que no necesito mas, aunque claro, curiosamente siempre salen montón de cosas que se supone que debí donar o tirar...
Me gustaría tener ese gusto por coleccionar algo o esa obsesión y satisfacción, no la tengo, pero conozco a dos personas que si lo tienen, mi hermano y mi papá... Cada quién a su manera, tal vez esa pasión por los carros va mas allá de la mera posesión de un objeto.. Puede ser, yo por el momento, seguiré buscando qué puedo encontrar de satisfactorio coleccionar...

I would really love collect something, i think that people who had any kind of collection, they also had an obsession or a personal interest, those who know what i've been talking about, they may probably got that complicity with someone who also owns a little treasure at home. I would really like to try it, but it happens that i'm not really good at, the reason is (probably i already said it before...) is that i like to had an organized and de-clutter space, i've been move from place to place and even when i've got a few belongings, i think i don't really need more stuff, even when of course, is so funny to find things that i should donate or toss it... 
I would really love to got that hobby to collection something or that obsession and satisfaction, i don't have it, but i know a couple persons who they do, my brother and dad... Each of them collect things at they very own way, maybe that passion for antique cars is beyond of that possession of an specific object.. It could be, i at the moment, i will be looking around what can pleased me to collect...

Además de ver lindas imágenes en pinterest también puedes ver tutoriales y proyectos muy interesantes por hacer, algunos pueden tomarte mas tiempo que otros, lo mejor es que son sencillos y fáciles, también puedes buscar algo dependiendo de tu nivel de conocimientos en la máquina de coser... yo por ejemplo encontré uno muy interesante para guardar los lápices o pinceles, es un pencil roll case (algunos tutoriales están en inglés si tu caso es que no lo hablas, no hay problema.... un buen traductor hace muy bien el trabajo..)
Así que me aventuré e hice uno para regalo.. utilicé una tela resistente para hacerlo, tela de algodón tipo canvas, toda pintada, corté aquí y allá, seguí las instrucciones y voilà! 

Besides of the nice images on pinterest you can also look around for some tutorials and projects to do, some of them can take more time than other, but the best is that are pretty easy and simple, you can also look around for something depending on your sewing skills... I for example i found one very interesting to storage and carry pencils or brushes, is a pencil roll case..
So i dare myself to do it and i did one as a gift... i use a very strong fabric in cotton, a canvas kind, all splashed with paint and colors, i cut here and there, i follow the instructions and voilà!

Y esta otra esquina, es mas tranquila, es muy iluminada también, si, también hay un desorden pero este desorden es también temporal, en cada obra que hago tengo que ordenar los siguientes colores a usar (aunque casi toda mi obra hay un azúl constante y eso me gusta...)

And dhis other corner, is more peaceful, is also very illuminated, and yes, is also very messy but this mess is temporary, in each painting i work i've got to put everything in order again to select the next colors that i'm gonna use (although in all of my artworks there's a constant blue and i like that...)

Quiero dejar bien claro que no estoy muy orgullosa de mi desorden en mi área de costura pero es que últimamente no me ha importado tanto porque... hay muchos colores por mis telas plastificadas!!... si tengo que culpar a alguien, sería a ellos!!... Este pequeño espacio en el que trabajo huele como a juguete nuevo, no sólo eso, tiene muchos colores y muchos estampados distintos! (o tal vez me estoy justificando..), tal vez eso, tal vez aquello, pero últimamente me gusta pasar tiempo cosiendo y haciendo garlands... es que se ven lindos! :)

I want to let this clear that i'm not proud of my mess on my sew corner, but is because, lately i don't really care much and also is because... there's so many colors on my oilcloths!!... if i've got to blame someone would be the oilcloths!!...  This small space where i work smells like a brand new toy and not only that, it has a lot of colors and many different patterns! (or i'm justified myself...) maybe a little bit of this and a little bit of that, but lately i like to spend some time sewing and working on my garland... it looks so cute! :)

Supongo que me gusta mucho el zoom en la cámara o será también que me gustan los detalles de las cosas simples y sencillas....

Recuerdas el primer garland que  hice con oilcloth?? yo sí, no quedó mal, sólo un poco sencillo, había mucho espacio entre cada pieza y le faltaba algo mas... Entonces lo que hice fué lo siguiente, tengo piezas de oilcloth algo asi como sobrantes y me puse a coserlos entre ellos para hacer cada pieza, algo asi como un rompecabezas.. Ahora se vé como un popurrí de colores! muy colorido y sobre todo se ve mucho mejor que antes. He aquí el antes y después del garland para que sepas a qué me refiero :)
Ahora este lindo garland decorará el gallinero en casa de mi hermana 

Do you remember the first garland that i made with oilcloth? i do, it wasn't bad at all, is just very simple, it has a lot of space between each piece and i think it needed something else... So what i did was this, i've got pieces of oilcloth, some kind of leftovers and i sew each other to make the piece of the triangle, some sort of puzzle... Now it looks like a popurrí of colors! very colorful and specially it looks better than before. Here's the before and after of the garland so you can know what i mean :)

Usualmente mis fines de semana son tranquilos o a veces algo flojos, el sábado suelo salir con los amigos o últimamente en cita pero nada fuera de lo normal... Mis domingos son para descansar (o pintar algo...) pero esta vez mi papá me invitó a una exhibición de autos antiguos en la que el también participó con su vocho y a decir verdad es que sus invitaciones no soy muy recurrentes (tal vez porque sabe que no son mi hit, me sugirió que llevara un libro)... claro que fuí!
El lugar fué fuera de la ciudad, creí que tendría la oportunidad de andar  paseando por las calles del pueblo, pero no fué así... y a decir verdad es que no estuvo mal estar en un parque, cerca de un riachuelo y viendo tantos autos.. entre autos antiguos, fierros viejos y demás, vuelvo a casa pensando ví demasiado autos en un sólo día pero mi papá piensa lo contrario

Usually my weekends are quite tranquil or sometimes a little bit lazy, the saturday i use to hang out with friends or lately with a date but nothing special... My sunday are for rest (or work in a painting...) but this time, my dad invite me to an antique car exhibition where he also participate on with his vw veetle and as a matter of fact his invitations are not very frecuent (maybe is because he knows that is not my hit, he also suggest me to carry a book)... and of course i went!
The place was out of town, i thought i would had the chance to walk around the streets of the little town, but it wasn't like that... and if i have to said, it wasn't so bad at all been in a park, near to a creek and watch a lot of cars... between antique cars, old metal pieces and vintage stuff and else, i came back home thinking that,

for one day i saw a lot of cars although my dad doesn't think the same

He vuelto con los hilos y agujas a bordar... he descubierto algo mientras bordaba, que me puedo relajar bastante!.. será acaso que es una terapia!? y yo que pensaba que solamente era un hobby y otra manera de sacar mi creatividad con los diseños...

Im back with the threads and needles doing embroidery... i found something while i did an embroidery, the i can get relax a lot!.. so that's mean is like a therapy!? and i though that would be like a hobby and another way to express my creativity with the designs...
