life lately...

Life lately has keeping me moving around from one place to another, i need more coffee than usual, also music to dance and keep a nice mood and flow.

The city is been a nice place but gosh! too sunny like, i'm burning under the sun but well, Mexico país tropical, is a fact... good thing, is already a lot of delicious food, mangoes, watermelons, agua fresca, ice cream and all the yummy food to reduce the heat...
Did you see the eclipse? was wonderful isn't? i notice the shadow of the tree, all the sunbeams can be catch in tiny half moons... can't describe, was so beautiful..
So here i am, catching photos of the places i've been lately, trying to move forward and keep myself active in many ways... classes are doing great, gotta take photos of my classroom to share you guys

knock knock...

 Guess i haven't been busy around here... but trust me, i've been quite busy lately! between classes, handling job and art projects... (but at least i've been doing great and having fun too... stressed too but still, has been fun around...) 
news? museums are still my kind of thing to visit... more news? new paintings at my studio of course.... more and more news? traveling this year like i always wanted! and that's a good thing for this fondly routine breaker person of me... like, i wish i do really wish to travel often even when i go back tired but what can i say folks? travel is a refresh to me! breath new air and scents on the roads and cities! eat and try new food around (don't care if i get sick on my stomach...) 
This year was such a nice thing to visit México city, between you and me it wasn't my kind of city... wasn't is the key word... is now for me... walking around in the downtown area, take the subway and praying deeply to not been there if there's an earthquake... God only know how scary could be that...
So, i'll share some of my fav photos that i took there... thank you year 2023 to let me stay busy, working and traveling in things that i totally adore!

 i've been moving in places and spaces, watching, seeing colors... i would say i kinda see it just like if it's ready to be capture in photo...
Lately, i've been able to move more around this places, still i'm standing at home, taking care of my health, i already got a vaccine but can't risk i still wear a mask everywhere i go...
how is your health? wish you stay healthy and taking care...

simple lines

Every time i walk in the street i try to see and observe lines, forms, colors that catch my eye, i try to do this sort of exercise all day long, the kind of elements that totally attracts me in i way that is hard to explain and noup, is not just the architecture i guess is also all the elements that amazes me... and when i got the opportunity to capture, i'll do it with my smart phone...
what catch your eye while you walk in the streets in your town or city?

Lately, i'm melting down in my town.. like 36 degrees and probably will be a lil bit higher, plus is so humid ... we are seriously struggling here but! still, with this magnificent sun, i'm still catching colors while i try to escape the sun rays and catch the shade like a vampire (yet i use a lot of sunscreen..)... and even when yellow is not my favorite color i still like how shinny and bright could be... i should eat more yellow fruit, it makes me happy... i won't change my crush and my love in blues but i can have a tiny affair with the yellow tho...

weekend..

I went this past weekend with my brother to promote his new calendar and illustrations, it was terrific, his friends are always so gentle and great people to hang out... his event was on saturday and oh dear was so full of people waiting to see him which make me feel so proud of him..
we also went to museums, you'll see something cool about visiting the capital is about not to break the routine but to learn and enjoying everything that is different from your town...
So, if i can make a recommendation, go to the museums, historic places, avoid bars and i'm not saying that like a bitter grown adult but i guess is more that we learn what we see in museums, bars can be an extra hint to our travels ;) 

this rainy days..

This past days has been pretty rainy, not like just a few drops, like pretty badly storms! (in some way i was almost to take a couple of each animal's species and put in an ark!!) was pretty badly, but after all the chaos and else, the air is so fresh, although some trees around town can fall for the rain and the wind... i guess is the bad part when it rains...
I get deeply soak one day when the rain catch me in the street in the downtown area... i took some pics of my town after all, and it was pretty nice the air...

we are the rainbow...

My state is conservative, very religious so close to be fanatics, is the mexican capital of the macho stereotype, the iconic image of what may think mexican mariachi music... in a very ironic way is also the capital of gay community (mexican version of San Francisco..) i don't care and i don't mind that image, i guess some people can feel uncomfortable about that...
I just embrace the rainbow 🌈with what diversity could means: tolerance, love, respect, freedom, support, decision, acceptance, empathy...
This past weekend, i went to the gay pride parade not just to support my family and friends but also to be there and demand basic human rights to our government... 

the bright colors

Visiting a town and cities in Latin America can be just an eye candy for foreigns, i can't blame it! even to me, is like an explosion of colors! seriously! but what i've i never expected is that most of this houses and buildings used to be bare brick... yup! and take that to my instagram collection of colorful houses!... there's a big archive of photos from here to there, they used brick, adobe or stone..
Now, the prefer to paint everything in bright and shinny colors, i just love them! is just impossible to not look all this colorful places!

and then, springtime

It seriously feels like summer, but is just springtime! i've been walking by on my daily routine, taking some pics from here to there, streets feels so hot! like steamy hot! but i'm not gonna give up  and quit to enjoy taking walks under the sun, although, i'm using more sun block that makes me look like kabuki actress and then, well, i just bought a hat for this season and even when i'm not the kind of person who wears, i'll start to use them... my skin will appreciate it... so this are some photos of what i've been seeing lately... so sunny days!

He estado un tanto alejada de este blog, entre que falta de tiempo y bueno, las mudanzas son algo estresantes, ahora las cosas están mas tranquilas, pudiera resultar gracioso que aunque no he escrito algo aquí, he estado como loca tomando fotos para mi cuenta en instagram! :D sigo con mi resolución de no tomar selfies, solo las cosas a mi alrededor, detalles bonitos e instantes que puedo rescatar en una imagen... I've been a little bit apart from my blog, between i've been busy and well, moving from one place to another can be a little bit stressful, packing things is not my best skill, now, things are settle down, and it may be funny that i haven't sit and write down a couple post here, but i've been nuts for instagram! :D i'm still focus on my resolution of not taking selfies, just things around me, nice details and instants that i can put on an image...
