Tuvimos un 10 de mayo fuera de lo común, por lo general este día de las madres salimos a comer a algún restaurant lindo, claro uno que mi mamá haya escogido, nos dividimos la cuenta entre todos, excepto mamá y todos felices platicando y comiendo.. Claro este no fué el caso y por sugerencia de mi hermano fuimos todos al parque (hasta llevamos a los perros!) ahí estaban tres generaciones, mi mamá mi hermana y mi sobrina disfrutando las dos de su día. Entre que comiendo sandwiches, fruta y una que otra siesta (lo digo por mi papá que hasta durmió con Lenteja en sus piernas..) fué un día de madres de picnic...
We had a 10th of May out of common, most of the time we just book a nice restaurant that of course was picked by my mom, we split the account with all of us except of course my mom and everybody eating, drinking and talking.. Of course this wasn't the case, by suggestion of my brother we went along to the park (we even carry with the dogs!) and there they are, three generations, my mom, my sister and my niece enjoying this day at the park. We were eating fresh fruit, sandwiches and taking nap (of course was my dad who also sleep and Lenteja was in his lap..) and it was a picnic mothers's day...

Flores! oh que si hacen una diferencia! confieso que no soy una persona que usa mucho las flores! me gusta verlas ahi en la naturaleza aunque en primavera con el calor que se siente no he tenido oportunidad de verlas (y eso me hace pensar que debo tener alguna planta mas en casa...) pero! mi mamá me ha traido flores y oh que bonitas se ven! :) llenas de color y luz por mi casa!
Flowers! oh it really makes a difference! i must to confess that i'm not a person who use flowers! i like to see them in the nature although in spring and with the heat i haven't see them (and that reminds me that i've got have a plant around in home...) but! my beloved mom bring me some flowers and oh what a delightful is! :) everything looks so pretty and full of joy around my place!
Ya se siente la primavera (por si no lo sabremos acá en México..!) ya todo se empieza a ver diferente, hay calor en el ambiente, de una manera u otra se manifiesta aunque eso si, los árboles de naranja alrededor de mi casa florecieron que fué una felicidad! pasar cerca de ellos era parte del encanto de la primavera. Yo por mi cuenta, ahora si disfruto comer fruta fría (en invierno ni de loca!) y si tiene algo de picante mejooooor!.
Ahora recién tuve la idea de hacer un "makeover" a uno de mis patrones en etsy, resulta que me gusta mucho y por una cosa u otra creo que no ha tenido muchas visitas, así que decidí bordar otro del mismo set y me está agradando bastante, ya casi lo termino...
Ah si claro! a lo que iba, sigo atorada en esta pintura, la empecé en diciembre y no avanzo mucho (estoy obsesionada con el realismo y el hiperrealismo en la pintura...ouuuuuch!) peor que nunca había trabajado algo que tuviera texturas de agua...bueno si, pero no con figura humana de por medio... ahi va en progreso..
Oh antes de cerrar este post! ya viene Abril! y ese mes me gusta por sobradas razones, así que haré un giveaway de un par de garlands...YaaaY!
It already feels like spring (i sooo can tell you about that it in México..!) everything starts to look different, it feels some heat on the enviroment, and in some way or another it shows that, the orange trees around my place started to bloom and was a such a happiness! walk around them and near by is part of the charm of the spring. I by example, start to enjoy eating very fresh and cold fruit (no way i would eat it in winter!!) and if i add spicy sauce or chilli powder so much better!.
Recently i've got the idea to do a makeover of one of my patterns on etsy, the thing is i like that pattern a lot and i can't explain why it doesn't have much views or likes, so i decide to embroider another one of the same set and i like it a lot, i almost finished...
Oh yes of course! the main point of this post, i'm still stuck in this painting, i started in december and i don't have much progress since then (i'm pretty obsessed with realism and hiperrealistic on painting... ooooouch!) worst that i never ever been working on this visual texture of water.. well, i did before, but not with human figure on it.... so this is how it looks like at the moment...
And before to close this post! April is coming! and i've got a lots of reasons to like this month, so i'll do a giveaway of couple garlands!...YaaaY!
Y esta otra esquina, es mas tranquila, es muy iluminada también, si, también hay un desorden pero este desorden es también temporal, en cada obra que hago tengo que ordenar los siguientes colores a usar (aunque casi toda mi obra hay un azúl constante y eso me gusta...)
And dhis other corner, is more peaceful, is also very illuminated, and yes, is also very messy but this mess is temporary, in each painting i work i've got to put everything in order again to select the next colors that i'm gonna use (although in all of my artworks there's a constant blue and i like that...)
Si, a veces olvido que también pinto y puedo usar mis manos no sólo para coser, aveces dejo los lienzos y después extraño mis colores y voy hacia los pinceles y las pinturas a refugiarme en ellas un rato, no puedo cambiarlos y aunque haga otras cosas, siguen siendo mi primer amor para crear!!... Te muestro un poco ahora de lo que estoy trabajando últimamente... sí, lo acepto! trabajo muy lento cuando pinto... pero shhhhh!!...
Yes, sometimes i forget that i can paint too and i can use my hands not only to sew, sometimes i leave the canvas and after a while i miss my colors so i'll go to my brushes and painting because i find a refugee on it, i can't change it and even when i can work in something else, still are my first love to create!!... I'll show you a little bit now in what i've been working latelty... yes, i accept it! i work very slow when i paint... but hushhhhh!!...
