quick trip...

 so i push my luck, i took my chances, i decided not to live with fear and well i packed my stuff, take a fly and went to Cdmx... Gosh! can't tell you how i missed to travel!!! visiting places, walking around, take a cup of coffee and just going outside!!
don't get me wrong, i'm the indoorsy person but sometimes is like too much! why not to travel?! here i am now, after a short quick travel, visiting museums, parks, art galleries, walking by, eating yummy and delicious food... can't get enough! i want to go to other places now!!! 
if i have fun? hell yes! if i take care? hell yes! if i was sanitizing my hands frequently? hell yes!
pack your stuff, get a ticket to nowhere and travel! 

almost a year...

It's almost a year since this pandemic situation is testing some skills and feelings, like if we can stay at home, living along with family, partners, roommates or so... How long we stand each other, or how long we can stand ourselves... is been hard if you are the social type that get along with everybody and now you've got to stay away to avoid contact or infection.. it also makes me thing to value simple things in our places, to also see that some "needs" are not really a needs, like making compulsive purchases of trendy clothes...
What i miss now is just nothing to do about buying things, i miss friends and family, i value my home, my family and friends and my health, i miss to travel, hanging out with friends, i miss hugs...
What we say with friends: we were happy and we didn't knew it...

last finds of the year

 oh well, i've been quite busy lately, i kinda abandon my blog but i've been busy on my etsy shop, in between my jobs, artworks, home and hobbies, sometimes i amaze myself how i handle it...

i paint what i want...

 So, i was invited to collaborate in an art project to make some illustrations... was pretty fun actually! like mixing colors, drawing and using the color palette i adore... blue, mints, yellows....
 in some way i did some experiment with the colors... but was fine, then i decided to keep painting in acrylic painting, i mainly use oil painting but well... gotta try to push my skill and take my chances doing something different and else...

a Farewell

So i guess all this social distance and the pandemic situation put me kinda in a sensitive mood, times don't move slow although some days it feels like it goes faster than ever. I adopted Lenteja (Lentil) when was just a puppy, my parents refused for several reason but have you seen those bright eyes?!. Dad had a partner to take a nap, Mom had her for a excuse for short walks in the streets. Lenteja had a very nervous personality but she was always feel relax in our company. Was a very difficult decision to say her good bye, she was ill and had arthritis in her hips and legs, i feel so bad to see her struggle... please please cuddle your pet, share moments and they always gonna be the best company and partner you'll ever had!

 

still standing..

This last months has been a huge changes... and i'm pretty sure that i'm not alone with all this mixed emotion... how is your quarantine?, i can tell you, is a subject! mine, now is doing well, i already passed anxious, fear, angry and several emotions that i can hardly express and put in words but! i will not gonna say that is not a lack of creativity...
been painting and drawing and i wish i could sew or start something to sew, true is, having two jobs and personal project, barely gave time to sit in front of my sewing machine... not gonna quite my hope... eventually i'll sew something just for merely pleasure but not for leisure...
how is your quarantine? did you change your routine? how is your emotions? stay bright, stay safe and stay strong too

simple lines

Every time i walk in the street i try to see and observe lines, forms, colors that catch my eye, i try to do this sort of exercise all day long, the kind of elements that totally attracts me in i way that is hard to explain and noup, is not just the architecture i guess is also all the elements that amazes me... and when i got the opportunity to capture, i'll do it with my smart phone...
