I wish i could go out more often... like really more often... vacations and travel is always a gooood idea! like great idea! just gonna cross my fingers and wish that... had some days off from my job so i went in a familiar trip to BCS and it was great... i had a sun tan, beer, seafood, plenty relax and great time with my family... i really need that so often... but lately i've been so busy... got two jobs, many personal projects and tons of paintings to do... so is like i guess i've got just schedule and just planning my time ....
still, cross my fingers... i wish i could go travel more often!

...

i wish i could express way much better what i feel, my thoughts... i wish that i can keep still and strong... i wish i can hold some emotions better than other... i wish i could write down my emotions... i wish i could put it down in poetry... but that will be not me.... i guess i was avoiding to write here for so long... there was a reason, a strong reason...
March month was a hard, difficult month... was a month that gather my family together... that also makes me realize the value of the presence or absence of people...
time won't back, neither time or people... lately i feel so attached to sunsets and sunrises... i'll keep the best of it...
thanks for reading..

in March we march...

Let's make it clear, in 8 of March is not a celebration, we commemorate women, women who fight, who rise and demand better salary and better jobs, more education, public charges and more opportunities in the society... So this may be some books that me and some girl friends recommend to read... not because are feminist books but because books may be the answer, it also may be a heal, a company, a partner, a light, a step, a reason and may be also the word that we can't express by ourselves ....

Embroidery with love

So i went to the museum, and i found this exhibition kinda by mistake, wasn't my intention to see it, i went to see another exhibition but oh well... and oh dear! i fell in love! as you may know i'm a huge fan of embroidery! like more for fun and hobby than else, it helps me when i'm freaking stressful or just because i like it and that's it... so this exhibition is about love letters or so, embroidered in handkerchief, in Portugal, the young couples uses this tradition as a declaration of love, the girl embroider the handkerchief with a poem or rhyme with a very delicacy design, unique and personal for the lucky guy.. the tradition had like a 100 years, at our days is still present but now the guys can embroider too... i took some pics, i love everything! it was impossible not to!

Teotihuacan..

There's is a place where i used to see it so often in my Mexico's history books when i was in school.. Apparently Teotihuacan was a city near by to México city where the people over there was never found then the aztec passed near by and that was a little bit more than 900 years ago... how do they found it?! it seems like it was like a little hills located in a very specific areas and archeologists from around the world help our local archeologists to rebuilt them...
My brother gave me this little treat to visit this pyramids that i used to see only in my school books, so we walked a lot, we climb stairs to the moon pyramid (the Sun's pyramid was so over crowded) under a nice warm sun...
My fav pyramid was the Quetzalcoatl, with the big sculptures near to the stairs (you can't
climb over there but i took some photos near by) so you can see the little details like sea shells, corn and spirals graved on the stone...
So is a must to, if you go to México city, you wont regret it, trust me!

my workshop

How can i explain that everytime that i'm on my workshop eventually i realized that may probably the workshop is also for me, like if i was another kid learning there too... This year my workshop was pretty cool, based on Roald Dahl, J.K. Rowling and Diana Wynne Jones books.. about what? well, basic and mostly on spells, invocations, potions and rhymes... is a funny mix but! it was awesome... why?! well, me and my very idealistic things about how to make a spell or invocation in order to get something but specially ask for something in specific...
i told to the kids that it is not the same ask for good luck if you don't said specific to what... is not the same have a good luck in the school or while playing or while you walk on the street so if you ask for good luck you better let clear to what or when or how...
i had a great time tho, even when one day i just get terrible sick, i was food poisoning but don't care, wasn't a great year for my health but i had a great time there...
at the end of my workshop i was totally speaking everything with rhymes... spanish rhymes aren't the easiest but kiddos nailed pretty good tho!!
