And here i go again doing this swirl lollipop embroidery but i've got to let something very clear, noup, i'm not eating caramels (i still can't rid of this extra kilos from christmas..) it was something that it comes to my mind and i thought that would be a great idea and yes, it will be for my etsy shop... In fact i think i'm going late because it was a pattern that i designed last year and finally i'm working on it... it looks pretty nice isn't?
Hace menos de un mes visité una cervecería y ahora una fábrica de tequila... ok, si, me divierto pero ambos fueron invitaciones, era dificil decir no...
Lo interesante del tour es que sales de la ciudad de Guadalajara a la ciudad de Tequila en un tren y durante todo este trayecto saboreas diferentes variedades de bebidas preparadas con tequila, (las margaritas de tamarindo y granada son una delicia..!). La fábrica que visité es una hacienda antigua asi que casi todas sus instalaciones para preparar tequila son las originales muy poco se ha industrializado asi que el proceso de horneado de las piñas de agave sigue siendo el original... El horneado de estas piñas es de aproximadamente 36 horas y las dejan enfríar minimo 8 horas, de estas piñas horneadas se extrae la miel de agave y debo decir que sabe deliciosa!
De las mejores cosas del tour fué conocer la diferencia e identificar las variedades de tequila, pudiera decirlo, pero claro, que sentido tiene, tienes que hacer el tour por tu cuenta.
Podría contar todo con detalles, mejor lo resumo con imagenes... Aunque claro, a mi gusto yo recomiendo tomarlo el tequila derecho y que sea añejo... La resaca es otra historia y esa no merece imagenes, sólo buenos recuerdos...
Less then a month i went to visit a brewery and now i went to visit a tequila factory... ok, i know i had so much fun, but when someone invited you, is kinda hard to say no...
The interesting about this tour is that you depart from Guadalajara to Tequila town in a train and during our way to there, you can taste a very different kind of drinks prepared with tequila (the tamarind and pomegranate margaritas are delightful..!). The factory the i visited is an antique hacienda, so all the amenities to prepare tequila are the originals, they industrialized some of the procedures, but the ovens where they bake the agave pineapples is still the original... The time to cook of this pineapples is about 36 hours and the cooling is minimun 8 hours, from this baked pineapples they extract the agave syrup and i must to tell is delicious!
One of the good things of the tour was to know the difference and identify the very different kinds of tequila, i could tell it, but of course, what's the point, you've got to do the tour.
I could tell you every single details, but i'm gonna resume it with images... Although of course, because i like it i recomend to drink the tequila straight and if is aged or extra aged i like it most.. The hung over is another story and that of course doesn't deserve images, just good memories...
Ayer sesión de fotos y hoy? ordenar mi desorden... demonios!! pero lo valió, tenía que actualizar unas imagenes de mis bordados, subir fotos en mi tienda en etsy y claro.. pasar tiempo con mi hermana y mi sobrina... Hoy limpio y ordeno el desorden que ayer hice, pero con café! oh siiii!!
Yesterday a photo session and today? clean my mess... darn!! but it worth it, i have to update some images from my embroidery and upload some pics at my etsy shop and of course... spend some time with my sister and niece.. Today i'm cleaning and fix the clutter the i did yesterday, but with my cup of coffee! oh yesss!!
Hay una casa, una casa de dormilones y en esa casa hay un bebé, un bebé dormilón, unos perros que roncan, un jardín que reverdece, unos papas que cocinan, una tía... Una casa donde todos quisieran dormir la siesta tambien... Finalmente conocí a mi sobrina :)

Después de casi un año y medio de estar fuera del país regreso a Guadalajara y aunque tengo mucha emoción por volver, me hubiera gustado estar otro año mas en Colorado... c'est la vie, hago recuento de las amistades que hice, los lugares que visité, de las personas que me enamoré, las comidas que probé, las cosas que aprendí y de tantas y tantas cosas que agradezco que tuve e hice mientras estuve por aquí, extrañaré especialmente a los pequeños nenes por los cuáles estuve aquí... espero volver pronto!! no me olvides Colorado que yo no me olvidaré de ti!!... oh por cierto, me pusiste en un pequeño problema, tengo que bajar todo el peso que gané mientras estuve aqui... diablos!
After almost a year and a half of being out of my country, i'm going back to Guadalajara and even when i'm so excited to go back, i would like to stay another year in Colorado... c'est la vie, i'm gonna recount the friends and friendship the i made, the places where i've been, the people the i fell in love, the food the i tasted, the things i've learned and many and many different things the i'm so thankful and things i made and had while i've been around here, i'll miss specially, the lil kids thus the reason that i was here... i hope to come back soon!! do not forget about me Colorado, because i'm not gonna forget about you!!... oh by the way, you put me in a little trouble, i've got to lose the weight that i gain while i was here... damn!
Insisto! un escritorio desordenado habla de una mente creativa!.... claro que también puedo poner pretextos para justificar mi desorden... Aunque podrás ver que estoy trabajando en pequeños lienzos muy coloridos y azules... un día de estos ordenaré mi escritorio... que viva mi desorden!!

Ya desde hace tiempo cuando me mudé a Colorado, alguien me había dicho que tenía que visitar las cervecerías del estado porque son algo muy especial, en realidad es que no mostré interés, pero bueno, siempre se puede cambiar de opinión y aproveché la ocasión cuando una amiga me invitó... fué una delicia! probar diferentes tipos de cerveza, conocer las instalaciones de la cervecería y todo el tour fué toda una experiencia... aunque mi guía hablaba demasiado rápido y peor que a mitad del recorrido con tanta cerveza que bebí no ayudó mucho a entender tantos términos... claro, volvería a hacer el tour! aunque me quedé con ganas de probar otros tipos de cerveza.. Algo que me pareció super interesante fué que la cervecería utiliza energía sustentable y no contaminante!! WoW!!
Recomiendo las que tienen infusiones de café-chocolate y la de frambuesa... salud!
Since i've move over here in Colorado, someone told me about to go to the brewery in the state, like "must go", because are very special, but i wasn't interested, but well, i change my mind so i went with a friend who invited me... it was delightful! taste very different kinds of beer, see the brewery facilites and all the tour was an experience... although my guide spoke quite fast and even worst, at the middle of the tour, after so many beer the i drank it didn't help me to understand so many terms... of course, i would love to go back! even when i should try to drink another kinds of beer... Something the i find quite interesting was to know that the brewery use sustentable energy and non contaminant!! WoW!!
I recomend those who had some infusion of coffee-chocolate and also with raspberry... cheers!
