Lately in the museums...

How often do you visit museums and the galleries? are you the type who enjoy visit museums or you rather go to other places?.. to say it true i like to go not just to see some art, in some way i think that visit museums could let us know what's going on around art, it also approach you to other perspectives, you can either see artworks from local artist or from other cities and countries
I like to see both, in some way, it can let us know different points of view and perspectives in art around everywhere... 

And yes, i've been in museums and galleries around my town and i took some photos of artworks that totally love 

this rainy days..

This past days has been pretty rainy, not like just a few drops, like pretty badly storms! (in some way i was almost to take a couple of each animal's species and put in an ark!!) was pretty badly, but after all the chaos and else, the air is so fresh, although some trees around town can fall for the rain and the wind... i guess is the bad part when it rains...
I get deeply soak one day when the rain catch me in the street in the downtown area... i took some pics of my town after all, and it was pretty nice the air...

Love is in my home

Lately, one of my favorites seasons of the year is already here... finally it's raining!! the air is so fresh and smells so nice! can't help it but if i'm at home i just watch the rain, drinking a cup of tea while the rain is outside if not, well, i won't be mad if i get soak by the rain... i just really don't care! is finally here, after having a horrible heat this past months i really don't mind if i just get wet in the rain...

I think when i see the sunset, where the time goes... is already July, one of my fav months, i guess is also because it means vacations but also because it comes the rain, everything goes green and fresh and just hush away the horrible heat... Is also time to rethink the plans of the year, should i continue with a particular project? did i already finish one of my purpose of the year?, is just half year, i'll keep my personal goals close and work on it but in the mean time, before the sunset i'll try to make my best...

weekends are for...

My sister had a great idea for this past weekend, she decided to envite a friend, my mom and i for spending the sunday just sewing... so my nephews went their grandma otherwise we couldn't work in our projects...
I should do something like this more often! not so long ago, a friend and i was trying to catch up for spend a day just embroidering, although he is kinda busy, but well, we haven't meet but we still want to work on that...
So the sunday was just sewing, talking, drinking plenty coffee and just having a great time. I couldn't finish my quilt, to be sincere, i stared the quilt like almost 2 years ago, i designed the pattern with some scraps that my sister gave me.
I knew that it was not gonna be a big quilt, but well, when i was almost to finish to sew all the blocks i just realized that i needed one more block... darn! just one! so i made one with some fabric that my sister had there and... well, it didn't match, the measures are smaller (funny, i just took the measures of one of the blocks) so, is a quilt in progress, i do really hope to finish it soon and then... finish another quilt that i've got on progress! i'm a case, i know...

My state is conservative, very religious so close to be fanatics, is the mexican capital of the macho stereotype, the iconic image of what may think mexican mariachi music... in a very ironic way is also the capital of gay community (mexican version of San Francisco..) i don't care and i don't mind that image, i guess some people can feel uncomfortable about that...
I just embrace the rainbow 🌈with what diversity could means: tolerance, love, respect, freedom, support, decision, acceptance, empathy...
This past weekend, i went to the gay pride parade not just to support my family and friends but also to be there and demand basic human rights to our government... 

this is what i find for June!

June and July is like our Indian Summer, is humid, rainy and cloudy, trust me, my hair knows that the weather is so damn humid!, even when the city can become so Apocalyptic with the rains and the storms, the fields and everything started to be fresh and green... is perfect for visit any park and for some picnic...
