me and dad

Usually my weekends are quite tranquil or sometimes a little bit lazy, the saturday i use to hang out with friends or lately with a date but nothing special... My sunday are for rest (or work in a painting...) but this time, my dad invite me to an antique car exhibition where he also participate on with his vw veetle and as a matter of fact his invitations are not very frecuent (maybe is because he knows that is not my hit, he also suggest me to carry a book)... and of course i went!
The place was out of town, i thought i would had the chance to walk around the streets of the little town, but it wasn't like that... and if i have to said, it wasn't so bad at all been in a park, near to a creek and watch a lot of cars... between antique cars, old metal pieces and vintage stuff and else, i came back home thinking that,

for one day i saw a lot of cars although my dad doesn't think the same

Currently working on...

Lately has been a very warm days in town, so i've prefer been working on a custom embroidery while i'm under a nice cool shade... although i think is time to look around for a nice pool or an excuse to get wet...

and finally...

Finally i finish my volcano embroidery! i worked with it almost 3 weeks, but to choose the threads was what it take me a little more of time, because i have to leave it with the colors that i need it to give this explosion effect... sunday of artcraft

I'm not so used to going out the sundays, i try to stay at home to rest or do thing that usually i don't do just because i can't do it during the week or to hang around and rest due the party of the last night... But in this occasion i went out with my family to walk around to Tlaquepaque (i know that it sounds funny the name...), but it has some charm like a little town even when is on the city, the saturation of colors in the artcraft is just part of the tour across the streets and is kinda difficult try to hold the temptation to buy something (i couldn't help myself and i bought a parrot figure made it with tin..!) but i think i should buy
that bottle of peach liquor in the artcraft store!
