One of my besties is getting married in October, she already send me the invitation, and i'm saving the date for.... So we meet when we were 14 years old, we were big fan of the same cartoons, music and share the same sense of humor, we love the same things and hate the same things, even when we were in high school, we weren't in the same classroom we tried to keep closed and then.. we had a big crush for the same guy (sounds like a teenage movie...) so we kinda split, and after all the guy was a jerk.. i went to art school in college and she was switching from one career to finally become a chef... now we hung out, she became roomie and friend of my brother some years ago and now she's getting married!! so this is my task, what should i gift her in this very special day..??
and the answer is a quilt, big enough to cover a couple... and the pattern? i kinda invented, i like to improvise with what i've got and this past days i've been sewing all day long (thank you so much vacations!!) i doooo really hope to finish it before October considering that i've got other things to do..! God bless my mess right now!
and of course, she doesn't know about this quilt, i barely doubt that she's gonna sneak around here to see what i've been doing lately...
Ayer sesión de fotos y hoy? ordenar mi desorden... demonios!! pero lo valió, tenía que actualizar unas imagenes de mis bordados, subir fotos en mi tienda en etsy y claro.. pasar tiempo con mi hermana y mi sobrina... Hoy limpio y ordeno el desorden que ayer hice, pero con café! oh siiii!!
Yesterday a photo session and today? clean my mess... darn!! but it worth it, i have to update some images from my embroidery and upload some pics at my etsy shop and of course... spend some time with my sister and niece.. Today i'm cleaning and fix the clutter the i did yesterday, but with my cup of coffee! oh yesss!!
Desde hace algun tiempo hemos estado planeando un proyecto mi hermana y yo, poco a poco vamos desarrollando las ideas que tenemos para aprovechar lo que cada quien sabe hacer, yo sé dibujar y pintar muy bien y ella sabe hacer diseños y coser de maravilla, así que es
te proyecto aunque va un poco lento no deja de ir caminando, ella tiene que trabajar y yo igual. Así que ahi estoy yo, en mi propio mundo, haciendo esto o aquello y diseñando unos lindos patrones para bordado, después de todo, no puedo limitar lo que sé, así que próximamente esperalos, que van a salir cosas muy buenas de ello.
From a while i' ve been planing a proyect with my sister, little by little we have been working on our ideas to aproach what we got and do what one of us know to do, i know to draw and paint so well and she can make designs and sew very well, so this proyects goes slowly but it keeps walking because she works and so did i. So there's me, in my own world, doing this or that and making some cute patterns for embroidery, even with that, i can't put boundaries to what i know, so coming soon, wait for it, because a nice things comes from it.
